Hi

My OS is Sonoma 14.1.1 

 

My inspre printer has been fine but now won't print - scanner fine - the printer shows as connected and ready but just won't print.  I have tried re0installing the printer - even tried shutting down entire system and the reloading everything printer last as new printer - still this bonjour malfunction visible in Add printer page - the Printer name - appears as " HP ENVY Inspire 7200 series (D08D61) - then under the Kind tab reads - Bonjour Malfunction.

Within the printer advanced settings I found a left margin tab for bonjour - I turned this off - the printer disappeared from the available printer list - then when I turned it back on the list refreshed with just Bonjour in the kind tab - but as soon as I highlighted the device to add it as printer the Kind title refreshed to Bonjour Malfunction - does anyone else have this issue - how can it be resolved please ??

Hi,

Please try performing a full restart cycle:

 

  1. Unplug your router and plug it back on, allow it 3-5 minutes to start till the internet connection returns
  2. Restart the printer,
  3. Restart your Mac.

May you see any difference now?
