I'm still in my first month of use, very pleased with printer and my 100 page a month subscription. However, clearly have not been leaving my printer powered up 24hrs. a day, and to my surprise on checking usage for the first time my total pages printed plus pages scanned = 224. In reality it can't be more than 50 - 60 at the most. Can you please tell me what's gone wrong?

Thank you Donal-M - your reply though not sorting out the problem I thought I had (!) lead me on to resolving the matter satisfactorily i.e., I had completely misread my page count by referring to my "Printer Status Report" instead of my account information. Your link took me to the right place and yes, I have only used 39/100 pages so far. HP does give me all the answers if I look for them, just a matter of being familiar with the system. Query solved.

Hi,
Instant ink will only count pages that have ink laid down. Even if it's just one word or partial print it counts as a page. Also be aware that doube sided prints count as 2 pages as ink is laid down on both sides.
I've included a link below through which you can contact instant ink support if you need to check into it further. Pease use the country flag icon to choose your support country.
