Product: HP INKTANK 310

I would like to ask if the ink I bought GT53 is compatible with my printer HP INKTANK 301 because I bought it yesterday and I was about to have it changed because I saw that my ink is GT51 when I asked the person who assist me, he told me that GT53 is now the new ink for black and that it is compatible. I would like to ask if it won't really affect my printer if I use it. Thankyou

The compatible ink cartridges for HP Ink Tank 310 series is as below:

GT53 is not mentioned in the list and it is not recommended to use it in the printer.
