Is the driver for Photosmart 6520 still supported with Mac OS Sierra before I upgrade?

I am having trouble printing legible pdf's (scrambled test) on my photosmart 6520 since OS Sierra was installed on my iMac. The driver depicted with the link in this post is for OS Mavericks and is dated in 2014. Is there actually a driver for Sierra that has been created recently?

Hello dodger53,

 

As fate would have it, I was unable to upgrade to Mac OS Sierra because my Mac minis (early 2009 and late 2009) are not capable of that upgrade. I therefore cannot offer you advice. Seems the printing difficulty you describe could be related to your ink cartridge/print head. Perhaps selecting the options to both clean and align your printheads would help. Best of luck.

I don't believe the printheads are the issue since I can print everything except pdf's.
