Many thanks for your fast reply. I presume you meant to say the colours are dye based. Appreciate your help which is just what I needed. Thanks again.

Oops, yes, the photo and color inks are dye based.

Hello,

I'm wondering about the HP 26, for the DesignJet 600.  The site lists it as dye-based, but it's pretty water resistant, and the MSDS says it contains carbon black.   I would love to use a pigmented ink, but have heard conflicting things about this damaging the machine.  Thank you so much for providing your expertise!

The HP 26 cartridge is pigment based, at least if you get a genuine HP one.  Third party products might use dye based ink.

Hello,

I'm wondering about the HP 11/10, for the DesignJet 110.  I want to know if the ink is dye-based or pigmented?

Can you help me Mr. Headrick?

thanks!

I do not know about the Designjet  110. This forum is focused on consumer level products.  For the Designjet you may have better results posting in the HP DesignJet forum here, that is where the DesignJet experts can be found.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I found the answer for my question on datasheet from the DesignJet 110 so...

Black: HP pigment ink;

Cyan, magenta, yellow: HP dye-based ink

Best regards!

I have an HP C8180 dye-based or pigmented for the colour cartridges? I am looking for a lazer printer with Pigmented ink any suggestions?

How about the 564 inks?
