Here are some steps to troubleshoot and resolve the problem:

 

 

1. Update Printer Drivers

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers for your printer model.
  • Install the drivers and restart your computer to ensure proper functionality.

 

2. Reset Network Settings

  • On the printer's control panel:
    1. Go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Settings.
    2. Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the Wireless Setup Wizard.

 

3. Check Router Settings

  • Ensure your router's firmware is up to date.
  • Disable any features like MAC address filtering or firewall settings that might block the printer.

 

4. Use the HP Smart App

  • Download the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device.
  • Use the app to diagnose and fix connectivity issues.

 

5. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds, then plug it back in and turn it on.
