No it does not. It just goes to the page that says that Web page is unavailable. I use Internet explorer.i cam get it to print and everything I just can't get it to access the internet. I am going to call and have someone remote access it and see what they can do.

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

 

You would be able to either use the steps I offered in the fourth message on this forum (substituting Smartphone for your computer), or you can use the printer software and a USB cable.

Hey yelp,

 

Can you answer the below please?

 

  • Is the printer connected to the same wireless network that the computer is?
  • What is the computer, Windows, including version, e.g. Windows 7 or Mac, including version, e.g. 10.8
  • Is the printer in an error state?
  • Is the computer able to see the printer during the adding steps, or is not listed at all?
  • Are you able to add the printer via USB?

Hello LMay1,

So, you are having an issue scanning with a Mac and the Officejet 8620, is that correct? Are you trying to scan with the Embedded Web Server, HP software, Mac software or from the printer front panel?
