Hi @docsco
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 9125e printer is continuously displaying an "Out of Paper" message, even when there is paper loaded, here are some troubleshooting steps to try:
1. Check Paper Loading
- Ensure that the paper is loaded correctly in the input tray. The paper guides should be adjusted to fit snugly against the edges of the paper stack.
2. Verify Paper Type and Size
- Confirm that the paper type and size settings on the printer match what is loaded in the tray. If there’s a mismatch, the printer may think it's out of paper.
3. Inspect the Tray Mechanism
- Remove the paper tray and inspect it for any obstructions or debris. Make sure the tray is seated properly when reinserted.
4. Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for about a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
5. Run a Test Print
- After resetting, try printing a test page directly from the printer’s control panel to see if it recognizes the paper.
6. Update Firmware
- Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the HP website.
7. Check for Printer Alerts
- Look for any alerts on the printer’s display that might indicate a paper jam or another issue affecting the paper feed.
8. Try Different Paper
- Use a different type or brand of paper to rule out compatibility issues with the current paper.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
