This little printer has been so reliable I’m hoping I can get a fix for it. I returned from a trip and found the lcd screen on the English or Espanol choices. When I select either on, nothing happens. I’ve unplugged it, plugged it in. I’ve uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Nada. Zip. Nothing. Does anyone have the secret to fixing this? Thanks!

@Penny350 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand that LCD screen locked on language selection.
Please perform the hard reset and check for the issue.
-
Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed
If the issue still persists, perform the below steps and check.
-
Touch your desired language, and then touch Yes to confirm the language choice. The Set Region Menu displays.
-
Touch your desired country/region, and then touch Yes to confirm the country/region choice.
If nothing is happening after you press Yes when your desired language is selected, power the unit off and wait ~ 10 seconds before turning back on and trying again.
Here's a link to setup instructions for the printer
Hope this helps you get setup but post back if your still not having any luck.
