I have 2 Laserjet 1015 mono printers both suffering the same issue.

The first page (or Test Page) print OK bu it then feeds a second page that stops half way through and causes a jam.

It does this even when not connected to a computer.  I am using standard plain A4 paper and have tried a different supplier's pack.

No visible obstructions.

Any ideas?  -  I need to get one of these working as I have 50 page print job to do urgently

Surely if I have two identical printers with the same fault it MUST a common one?

Is this perhaps a sensor problem?  The machine does not know that it has reached the end of the first sheet and keeps going?

Some of you Gurus on here must know!

TIA

Andrew

FWIW I got it fixed on BOTH printers.

There is a solenoid under the RH cover which sticks in the open position,

It needs cleaning and sometimes a little bit of double-sided tape under the rocker to reinforce the spring and engage the cog mechanism.

Just in case anyone else has the same issue.
