Hi, printer won't do anything.

ready and attention leds always blinking and don't stop.

Before you ask, just know that:

- Printer is USB connected

- PC sees printer (toolbox permit acces to interface)

- reports from toolbox page won't print

- firmware is updated with latest version on your site

- tried with "reset" unplugging power cable....etc.

- I have read all of your forum and no solution works

- tried multiple cartridges

VERY ANNOING PROBLEM!

Hi@naturick, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand that the printer not powering on.

Request you to follow the below troubleshooting steps from the document fix :-

Step 1: Reset the printer

Reset the printer to clear the printer error.

  1. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.

  2. Unplug the power cord from the power source.

  3. Wait 60 seconds.

  4. Reconnect the power cord to a wall outlet and to the printer.

    NOTE:

HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Try to print. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.

Step 2: Plug the printer directly into an electrical outlet

Plug the printer directly into an electrical outlet to make sure the power source functions correctly.

  1. Unplug the power cord from any surge protector, extension cable, or power strip.

  2. Plug the power cord directly into a wall outlet.

  3. Turn on the printer.

Try to print. If the issue persists, continue to the next step.

Step 3: Service the printer

If you have completed all the previous steps and the issue persists, continue to the Service the printer section at the end of this document.
