Hi @Ozarkroc,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer used to print wirelessly but now isn’t communicating with your computer, here are the most effective steps to get it working again:

1. Restart Everything

  • Power off your printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait 30 seconds, then power them back on in this order: router → printer → computer.

2. Check Printer’s Wireless Connection

  • On the printer control panel, print a Wireless Network Test Report:
    • Go to Settings > Wireless > Print Reports > Wireless Test Report.
  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.

3. Re-add the Printer on Your PC

  • Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Remove the printer if it’s listed.
  • Click Add device and wait for Windows to detect it again.

4. Use HP Smart App

5. Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers

  • Visit the official HP site:  🔗 Official HP® Support
  • Enter your printer model and download the latest Full Feature Software for your version of Windows.

6. Check Firewall or Antivirus Settings

  • Sometimes security software blocks printer communication.
  • Temporarily disable your firewall and try printing again.

I hope this helps.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
