Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you getting this error while the print command is given?
  • Did you make any changes to your printer?
  • Are you able to print from other devices?
  • Could you please share the picture of the error message?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

A w-10 full original reinstall was done after a failure to start. No hardware failures found. Quite succesfull otherwise. M277 was installled with updated software witth last software as USB and wired network times 3 [with uninstalation each time] with the same error. Installed as Wi-Fi once, not better but the scaner worked ok. Funtion Network with other network computers gives no error but it does not print either.

Thanks for the interest.

Activating test printing in the properties of the printer fail to print. Instead, a window with this message comes on:

"Test page failed to print. The system does not support the command requested"

The troubleshooter fails to fix the problem.

Version 8.01.1320.2917 driver software has been erased/uninstalled and reinstalled 4-5 times, always with the same result.

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting Error 0x00000077 while printing, I am glad to assist you,

This seems to be a driver issue.

Did you uninstall the printer driver from the root level before installing the new driver?

Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.

  • In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
  • Select your HP printer.
  • Select Uninstall.
  • In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
  • Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
  • Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
  • Click on Drivers tab.
  • Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
  • Select OK.
  • Remove all instances of the same.
  • Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
  • Close Devices and Printers.
  • Restart the PC again.
