Product: LaserJet 1018
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello everyone, there is a computer running windows 10 x64 and an old LaserJet 1018 printer, the system refuses to recognize it as a printer, is there any way to solve this problem? everything worked on version 7 of the operating system.

Hi,

Your printer drivers are available via Windows Update.

 

Follow the below steps to install the printer:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c01796879

 

If that fails, manually install the driver from the Microsoft Update Catalog:

http://download.windowsupdate.com/msdownload/update/driver/drvs/2012/12/20522205_dd3e171673a47d0526f...

 

You may follow the below steps to install the drivers:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/323166/how-to-download-updates-that-include-drivers-and-hot...

 

You may either extract the file using the expand command, or any unarchive utility such as Winrar or 7Z.
