Hi there,

Trying to print to my LaserJet 5200 and I get the following error:

“hpPostProcessing.bundle” will damage your computer.

Any advice on what to do here?

Thanks for this - I ran the uninstaller successfully however when I tried to run the installer (on BigSur) I revieved the following error:

“HewlettPackardPrinterDrivers.pkg” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.

Please carefully go through the steps, including the Security & Privacy settings:

Note: if the file fails to launch, try double-clicking it, also try-right-clicking it and selecting Open, as well make sure it is not blocked under System Preferences > Security & Privacy and then launch it again

To be able to add the printer, do I need to be on the same network for my computer to be able to find it when adding it in system preferences?

Yes, you must connect the printer and the computer to your home network and then you should add the printer.
