When I try to print, the app connects to the printer and then hangs waiting for response from the printer and it never prints. The printer is then busy from other devices as well. Windows 10, Mac OS and iPhone all have the same issues with this printer and its wireless connection. If I unplug and try again it might work. Other wireless HP printers in our house don't have this problem but they are Officejet of various vintages. The printer indicates it is busy on the screen, but never prints. There are no logs or any way to figure it out.
Rebooting the printer multiple times a day is not a good solution, this is a software issue of some sort.
With kids at home and printing all day for COVID, messing with the printer is not a good experience. It seems your general solution is to reboot but that is a temporary solution.

@fchixon, Welcome to HP Support Community!
I understand that you are unable to print and the Printer is stuck in the Busy State. This could be due to the connectivity or the drivers installed. Let us try to isolate and resolve the issue-
You may need to instead go into your router settings and try changing the channel manually. Experiment with different channels to see which one works best.
Let us start with a Printer Reset-
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Also, Update the printer firmware
Download available firmware updates from the HP website
With the printer on and connected to the computer, go to HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads, and then identify your printer. Look for and install any available firmware updates. Refer to the document HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Now, try printing.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
