Hi Gerry_GFRC,

I think I may have solved my problem.  The short story is that the printer was wired to my network and also connected to my desktop via USB.  When I added the printer in Windows 11, two printers were actually created (One network and one USB).  Deleting both from Windows 11, power off the printer, pull the USB out of the back of the printer, power the printer back on, and restart the desktop, I think has resolved it.

Not sure if you are in the same boat, but if so, give the above a try.  If not, let me know as well.  It's only been a couple of hours of no issue, but I could cause the issue on demand by rebooting the desktop or printing from it.  I'll wait a couple of days before calling victory.

Having the same issue with my HP LaserJet Pro MFP M225dn.  I recently had a Windows Update and they may correspond, it's hard to say.  Also, when I try to open the HP App to clear the print queue the printer will only show "Offline" despite the USB Connection.  After a no power reset of the printer, I can get it to print once, but then the same thing happens again and it locks up the printer and runs through paper.

I was having the exact same issue with my HP LaserJet Pro M201dw as described in this thread. @LAWilson I did as you described in your post and it seems to have resolved the issue for me as well. Thank you!

A post by @LAWilson further down this issue thread seems to have resolved the issue for me.

Can someone help me through deleting the printers?  I go Settings -> Bluetooth and Devices -> Printers and Scanners, but I only see one LaserJet Printer, which I've deleted and done the reboot thing a few times, but I don't see a second printer that you're saying is the problem.

@Dunstanj33 I only had one printer in my list as well. I just deleted and followed the other steps and it worked. I have no idea why it worked.

It's the same problem, but there's no solution?

I have a LaserJet MFP M426 series printer. Same issue of rogue printing of continual pages with the top of the page showing

Content_Length: xxxx

Content-Type: application/ipp

Host: Localhost

I have re-installed print drivers, reset etc initially without any luck.

My thinking is the IPP (Internet printing protocol) is the cause of the problem.

I have disabled it by creating a registry key. Not sure if it will fix it but so far so good.

Here are some instructions at the following link.

This issue started for me about a month ago. I had a laser jet printer and it ended up dying on me. Its worthless now after only 2 years. I went and got another one for like 200.00. Plugged it in and the exact same issue. I cant print anything all it does is print the same none sense over and over

I had the same issue with M201dw and Windows 11 PC. I tried all the suggested solutions on this thread but none of them worked. I noticed Windows update KB5027231 which was rolled out on June 13 was available so I installed it.  After that, I no longer have the issue. FYI ...
