The printer refuses to print this specific file, from my iPhone and from my Mac. Also tried wife's iPhone. When printing from the Mac, I can see a print job is added to the queue, but it quickly disappears. Printing other files works just fine.

Each time we try to print this particular file, the printer shows a green bar at the top of its screen saying "Printing" but doesn't do anything, the bar disappears, and nothing is printed.

I would assume the file has some protection against printing, but that honestly wouldn't make much sense, because the file was downloaded from an official German institution, and IT IS meant for printing. Or are there some symbols the printer doesn't understand? Or did the printer get scared of the German symbols?

I was able to print the document only after exporting it to an image format.

P.S. Very smart of you not to let me upload PDF and ZIP files. So you can find the file here https://www.recht.bund.de/bgbl/1/2024/363/regelungstext.pdf, and here is a direct link to the file https://www.recht.bund.de/bgbl/1/2024/363/regelungstext.pdf?__blob=publicationFile&v=3. Any attempt to print the file, even directly from Google Chrome, fails.
