Whatever I print and whatever device I print from, all the even pages are jumbled and the odd pages are perfect.  I tried a factory reset and latest drivers.  This issue prevents me from printing more than a single page at a time.

@ScreenNameMaria, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Jumbled Print on Even Pages for HP LaserJet 3100 Series!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Driver Update: Ensure that you have the latest drivers installed. Download and install the latest drivers from the official HP Support website.

Check Duplex Settings: If your printer is set to duplex printing (double-sided printing), it may need to be configured correctly through the printer's duplex menu options.

  • Duplex Binding:
    • Long Edge or Short Edge: Ensure that the binding setting matches your desired output.
    • Navigate to the Duplex setting in the printer menu and adjust it as needed.

Paper Handling Menu:

The paper handling settings might be incorrectly configured for your print jobs.

  • Tray Configuration:
    • Ensure that the paper type and size are set correctly for each tray you are using.
    • Configure the trays by size and type via the Paper Handling menu.

Printing Menu:

Check the default settings for how the printer handles print jobs:

  • Override A4/Letter: Check if this setting is appropriate for your paper size.
  • Manual Feed: Ensure that it is set correctly for your print jobs.

Print Quality:

Inspect and adjust print quality settings:

  • Calibrate: Perform a calibration to ensure print alignment and quality.
  • Create and Process Cleaning Page: Use this feature to clean the printer internals which may help improve print quality.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
