Have been getting an immediate error 0xd9c6006 when powering on. Cannot get past error. Have tried plugging into different outlet and discharging printer power by turning off, unplugging printer and hitting the power button again. Any ideas how to proceed?

Remove the toner cartridge and try cycling the power to see if the unit will startup without toner installed.

Repairatrooper,

I appreciate the quick response. We did try removing the toner and powering up the printer. It again immediately pulled up the error code. I did get some information to try a 00BE reset (reset to defaults) and will let you know how that goes.

Thanks for the response Repairatrooper.  Tried the toner cartridge power cycle - same error. Tried 00MB reset as per HP and still immediately get the error (0XD9C60006). Warrantied a formatter and will see if that gets us anywhere.
