Hello,

I am having an issue with my M227fdw printer.  Whenever my business tries to send a fax it will restart the printer then try to fax again then restart again.

Specifically it happens during the sending process.

The troubleshooting I had done so far is update the firmware to the latest available on the HP support site.

I had also performed a factory default setting reset.

I had also did the NVRAM reset.

I had made sure that fax error corrections were on, fax resolution was standard, and fax speed was set to slow.

Thank you

I just had this identical support issue with a client on a Brother MFC. I told him to make sure that the printer was not plugged into a surge protector or UPS or sharing a power circuit with any high drain items such as under desk heater or air conditioner unit. Even these small printers will draw up to 10 AMPS when printing. He indeed had a power issue in that case, so something you want to check.

Sorry for the delay in replying.  I did forget to mention that I had it plugged in directly to the wall and its on a isolated ground outlet as well.  Still had the same issue.
