i dont understand why its like this...ive even tried ajust the photo with photo shop

Yes it is..I haven't changed the black ink cartridge out yet..gonna do that this weekend

Hi CJWOLF,

 

From what you described before, I think it seems to be hardware related. 

Hopefully it is only the black cartridge, and the issue will be resolved by changing the cartridge.

if not I am afraid you need to call HP customer service to get printer repaired.
