List of EOL or Discontinued devices with expiration date

I have been tasked for my company to compile a list of all our printers in the fleet and state when their discontinued date will be. I have been successful in getting that from Zebra, Ricoh , and Canon. But with HP I keep seeing the verbiage of average 10 years but wanted a list if possible of dates and can I make the assumption that parts for those devices will be available up to 10 years after discontinuation date?

Most, if not all copier/printer manufacturing companies use a 10 year life for their products. This does mean they are supported for 10 years with parts, supplies, and service. But after those 10 years they no longer make parts and supplies for that model, however most parts and supplies are still around because of the abundance made, and slowly deplete over time. This does not guarantee the parts are available after the 10 year mark though. And as far and an EOL list for HP, i don't believe they have one because of all the models made every year, best to just look at the serial sticker in the back of the device to determine the manufacturing date.

Your assumption is somewhat wrong, parts availability is 10 years from date of release of the product in most cases, not 10 years from discontinue date. Parts in most cases will be available longer but legal requirements do not mean that parts are available for that long. As an HP partner I have a list of EOL dates however my NDA does not allow me to publish any of that information.
