I tried the solutions that were offered to me.  I bought 2 brand HP cartridge from Office Depot, and got the same error message.  If I install the old empty cartridge, the error message goes away.

Thanks for the tests.

In this case, you will have to call HP, choose the printer option for this model. With the invoice, you will see if it is possible to exchange these cartridges.
