Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I'm trying to print onto pre-printed checks but they keep printing out UNDERNEATH the lines. How do I align these properly? I have an HP ENVY Pro 6458 Printer.

If you cut a piece of plain paper to a size of a check and print on it and compare it to an original check does it print well or not?

 

The wrong paper or a worn-out printer can cause problems like yours.
