Moved to a new house, printer hasn't worked correctly since. Not registering on USB connection and won't allow me to restore or reset it. No software on HP site recognizes it or allows connection.

If you are locked out of your HP OfficeJet 6970 printer, you can try the following steps to regain access:

Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer by pressing the power button. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and wait for about 60 seconds. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer again.

Factory Reset: Perform a factory reset on your printer to reset all settings back to their default values. The steps to perform a factory reset may vary depending on the printer model. Consult your printer's user manual or visit the HP Support website for specific instructions on how to perform a factory reset for your OfficeJet 6970.
