Encountering a printer failure message typically indicates an issue with the printer or its print system. Here are steps to resolve this problem:

 

Turn the Printer Off and On:

  • Press the power button to turn off the printer.
  • Wait for a few moments.
  • Turn the printer back on.

Check Room Temperature:

  • If the room temperature is below 5°C (41°F) or the printer was stored in a cooler environment, allow it to warm up. Note that warming up could take up to 12 hours.
