Long thin clear piece of plastic came out of my printer while clearing a paper jam

While clearing a paper jam which was preventing the cartridges from moving a long thin clear piece of plastic about 12 13 in Long came out one and has a triangle and the other end has a :-). If anyone can please instruct me how to fix this I am retired and cannot afford it this time to have a repairman but I have to have my printer! Thank you so much in advance

This is a hardware issue with the printer.

I would personally suggest you contact our HP Support for one on one interaction.
