HP Deskjet 3755

Help!  I've tried all the suggestions in other posts to factory reset my deskjet 3755 with no success.  I do not have the admin password and when I go to setup after holding the WIFI and X buttons it still asks for the admin password.  I just want to factory reset so I can re-install the device and set it up properly.

@Phiguy Have you attempted a network default to resolve the issue?

While you respond to that, here's what you need to do:

To restore network settings to default settings

Press the Wireless button and the Cancel button from the printer control panel at the same time, and then hold them for three seconds.

The network will need to be reconfigured afterwards. Then the user name will be admin and the password is left blank.

If the issue persists, reply back and I'll be more than happy to send out the semi-reset process to help resolve the issue as that would be the last resort.

Good morning.

Yes I have tried the cancel "X" and wireless button several times to no avail.  When I go to try and adjust the settings via EWS everything is still password protected.  Does not even give me the option of typing in username and leaving password blank.

@Phiguy If that isn't working as it should, this could be a hardware malfunction and I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!

Also, if you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty, if yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from,

here's how private messages work: Click here for details

If you wish to thank me for my efforts, you could click on "Accept as solution" on my post as the solution should help others too.
