Restart the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
  3. Remove the cartridges.
  4. Press and hold the power button for 30 seconds.
  5. Plug the power cord back in.
  6. Wai for few minutes and then insert the cartridges (let printer prompt for cartridges)
  7. Turn on the printer

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor (Windows only):

Since this happened i created a case with HP and they have sent out a replacement  M110we took a while to connect to wifi and its connect and the printer on the webpage of the Ip address reports fine and healthy but i cannot print anything to do the printer and or wirelessly. Cartridge is now reading properly with at least 60% left but no print jobs and still flashing red.

I have carried out the troubleshooting as you have said and printer still flashes red.

HP have sent me a replacement printer and the printer will not print out any jobs on usb or wireless. I can print the internal reports no errors reported on the portal of the printer but the printer is still flashing red.

I dont understand where the fault is i have done cleaning and cartridge clean and also replaced the toners both have got ink left according to the counters but cannot print from the computer.

Firmware has been updated

Printer has been reset a  number of times.

I have an open case with HP.
