macOS 12.0 Monterey

Mac OS Ventura (which cannot even be chosen from the above dropdown menu)

NOTHING CAN PRINT FROM ANY MAC APP. not even the test page from the print dialog

Only the HP Smart app can print. Why?

I have done everything recommended here

Go to system settings>printers &Scanners

hold control and click on printer

select reset printing system

add printer again

 

Now it works
