In April 2020 my printer started printing with a solid yellow background.

I replaced the yellow toner, reverted to factory settings, uninstalled & reinstalled the printer drivers, and installed the 2019-07-12 firmware update in May 2020.  Nothing has resolved the issue.

What's strange is that the Job Storage Report prints just fine, but the Supplies Status prints with a solid yellow background...and both reports completely bypass the PC.  It's otherwise as good printer, but his has rendered it useless.

If you have not performed an NVRAM reset, this might be a good time to try that.

Thank you for your reply.

I followed instructions for NVRAM reset found here: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/LaserJet-Printing/How-do-I-Reset-my-Printer-to-Factory-Settings-Color-...

Everything went as expected in the instructions, so I'd say I successfully did an NVRAM reset, but it did not resolve the problem.

Supplies status still prints with a solid yellow background.

Thanks for trying.
