HP Color LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M776z

We have a process where a pdf is converted to a raw postscript 2.0 (or 3.0) file and then sent to our printers on port 9100. Never had any issues with any other printers (like M6800, etc) however the new M776's refuse to print the raw postscript file. They print everything else sent to port 9100 including pdf files, but sending a raw postscript file to 9100 the printer just sits. No errors, no flashing lights, no nothing. It's like the printer doesn't even receive the file.

Has anyone else had this issue, or more importantly, any idea on how to fix it?

Thanks!

Specs state that this printer has PS emulation. If it does not have a full PS system embedded in the printer it may only be able to print from a post script driver and not process raw files.

Hey! That's kind of what I thought also but if I send the same postscript file using lpd to lpd queue 1 which is RAW the file prints perfectly. It just seems to be printing the raw postscript to port 9100.

Thanks!

have you confirmed that no security settings are blocking? would be odd that other files would go through fine, but sometimes vendors do things that make no sense.
