Product: OfficejetJ3680
Operating System: Other

MAC Book Pro updated to MACOS Big Sur and now unable to print on Officejet3680. Error message Gatekeeper, etc. Spent time with Apple Support to try and resolve and tried all the things that HP site suggests. They shared screen. They suggested getting in touch with HP Support and Virtual Agent unable to rectify and feedback - unsure if this worked. Not a great experience. Please help _ I need to print for my organisation and as I am chair of Sustainable organisation I do not want to be told that my printer is redundant, no longer supported and needs to be sent to Thailand for recycling.  P{lease advise oh wise ones?

HP Officejet J3680 All-in-One Printer driver for macOS 11.0 is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.

 

NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple

Hi,

Please follow below version of HP Easy Start, as soon as it launches open the top HP Easy Scan menu and select Uninstall HP Software.

Follow the steps on screen and then click on Set Up New Device and follow the steps to reinstall the printer:
