HP Color Laser MFP 179fnw
macOS 12.0 Monterey

Does anyone know how to factory-reset the MFP 179 fnw?

My problem is that the printer continues to initialize.

Appear on the screen the following:

System Initialize

Warming up

Ready to Copy

Phone

System Initialize

and so on in a loop

I don't understand why the answer to this question elsewhere in the forum has not been made public?

Hi @MaxYolk,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I understand that your printer is stuck at system initialization. I'd like to help!

We need to perform a reset.

The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
