Hello team.

I would like to ask you about the PCL5 driver for the new LaserJet Enterprice models.

 

I have been looking for a PCL5 driver for the HP Laserjet Enterprise E87660dn and I have NOT found either the universal driver or the basic PCL5 driver.

 

I have read somewhere that the new HP LaserJet Enterprise models are not compatible with the diver PCL5 since HP no longer releases PCL5 driver anymore.

 

So my question is if the HP LaserJet Enterprise E87660 is not compatible with the PCL5 driver.

You can try the HP UPD version 5, it has not been updated in a few years but should still be able to perform basic print functions. Devices like staplers and sorters will likely be defaulted to being simply an output device.
