We have an HP LaserJet 700 color MFP M775. The printer has error code 57.00.03 Error (bad FM3 Formatter Fan).
Printer warranty is expired. I opened a support case asking for the replacement fan part number, and they closed the case without responding (thanks for nothing...).
I found the printer teardown guide and the replacement is easy enough for me to do on my own. Need to see if I can purchase replacement fan or get the part number for formatter FM3 fan so I can replace it. I cannot find the part number for the fan anywhere.
I just need a part number, not sure why it is so difficult to find such a thing in todays age.

Checked our test unit and the part number for the fan is RK2-3301-000CN. If HP cannot supply that check for a Nidec D06R-12SS5 06B 12VDC fan on site like Digikey or Newarkinone. You will likely have to splice the harness to install.

Thank you Repairatrooper. You may not work for HP, but your expertise is invaluable.
It's sad that we live in a day and age where large companies such as HP are incapable of assisting a person with the model number on a fan. I am glad you are here to help.
