I understand that your HP Smart Tank 589 printer’s all lights are blinking and it’s not responding to any button presses. This usually indicates a hardware or firmware issue. Please try the following steps carefully:

Power Reset the Printer:

Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.

Wait 60 seconds.

Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Check for Obstructions:

Make sure there are no paper jams or foreign objects inside the printer.

Disconnect Peripherals:

If any USB cables or external devices are connected, disconnect them and then try turning the printer on.

Firmware/Software Check:

Ensure your printer has the latest firmware installed via the HP Smart app or HP website once the printer powers on.
