Hi @sher88,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Check Printer Connection:

  • Ensure the printer is properly connected to your network or directly to your MacBook via USB.
  • If using Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to the same network as your MacBook.

Printer Status:

  • On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w from the list of printers.
  • Check the printer status for any alerts or error messages.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure you have the latest printer drivers installed.
  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest drivers specific to your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w for macOS.

Add Printer Again:

  • Sometimes removing and re-adding the printer can resolve issues:
    • In System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer and click the - (minus) button to remove it.
    • Click the + (plus) button to add the printer again and follow the prompts.

Reset Printing System:

  • If removing and re-adding the printer doesn't work, try resetting the printing system:
    • In System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, right-click (or Control+click) in the printer list area.
    • Select Reset Printing System.
    • This will remove all printers and scanners. Re-add your HP LaserJet Pro P1102w after the reset.

Check Printer Queue:

  • Ensure there are no stuck print jobs in the printer queue:
    • Open System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
    • Select your printer and click Open Print Queue.
    • Clear any stuck print jobs by clicking the X (cancel) button next to the job.

Run HP Easy Start:

  • Use the HP Easy Start software to automatically detect and install the latest drivers and setup the printer:
    • Download HP Easy Start from the HP Support website.
    • Run the software and follow the instructions to setup your printer.

I hope this helps.
