Product: HP Inkjet Ink Advantage 3835

Is there any distinction between "minimum operating system requirements" and Compatible Operatiing Systems? For instance, Minimum operating system requirements under Printer 3835 specifications list Windows 8.1 as one of the minimum systems required, without mention of Windows 10; yet the compatible system for the same printer is given as Windows 10. For most of the printers, both the minimum requirements and  the compatible systems start with Windows 10. I would appreciate anyone clarifying the difference.

The Minimum System Requirements refer to the general requirements such as the operating system, required memory and hard disk space and additional software requirements.

 

The Compatible operating systems only summarize the supported operating systems.

 

Youe printer supported on Windows 10, as listed by both the Minimum System REquirements or Compatible Operating Systems section below:

Minimum system requirements: 
        Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7:
