Our nonprofit office is unheated in the winter and the room air temperature can get quite cold, below 40. The printer remains on all the time. Once we heat up the room to around 65, the printer will usually work but it jams if any photo or cardstock paper is used. We put a little space heater to the side of the printer to warm up the mechanisms but it still jams. Is this because of the prolonged low room air temperature? Any ideas for resolving this? I thought about putting it on a heated (flower) seed growing mat but don't know if that would be adequate.

Hi,
What is your exact printer model?
Is it an HP printer? as you do mention Dell in the product description.
