Hi! @Broke_6830, Welcome to HP forums.

I understand you are getting printhead 0xc19a0020 errors on your printer.

Don't worry I'd like to help you out.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

Please try few steps recommended below.

Update the printer firmware and check if it helps.

Update the printer firmware using this link. Click Here

Resetting the printer can reset the connection to the printhead and clear any error messages.

1.Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.

2.Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

3. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.

4.Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

5.Wait at least 60 seconds.

6.Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

   note:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.

are.
7.Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

8.Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

9.Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

•If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. It is a hardware issue with your printer.

The firmware is the current version available as on the 19/11/2018 & the power reset procedure came back with the same error = 0cx19a0020

I followed the other steps and also the cartridges are ALL Brand new.

My printer is just over 3 years old, does this mean I now have to chuck it out as its got a hardware failure in the Printhead ?

This could be a possible hardware issue with the printer.

Hi, Thanks for the info,

HP Support said it is indeed a hardware failure on the print head and its NOT possible to repair it, so just chuck it a bin.

Not impressed with this HP printer as its ONLY 3 years old,

Will just start to use my Epson Printer more which is much older and more robust.

I still have £230 of Printer Cartridges for my knackered HP6830 as well so NOT happy at all but thanks for your help.
