Xfinity screwed up my modem and came out yesterday to supposedly fix the modem giving it a new password...and when I want to print it tells me the printer is not connected to my iMac.... I have unplugged the USB cord to the printer from the printer and from the plug in to the wall and it still will not connect with printer or printer with my iMac...

Hi @Orlien10,

I see you need help with the Officejet printer connectivity. Please do not worry I am here to help you.
Check Network Connection: Ensure that your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi network and that there are no obstacles affecting the signal.
To restore the printer to the original network settings:
- Disconnect the power cord from the router.
- Turn off the printer.
- Turn off the mobile device/PC.
- Reconnect the power cord to the router, then wait for the Internet activity light to display a normal connected status.
- Turn on the printer.
- Turn on the mobile device/PC.
Run the setup wizard to get the printer connected to the new network.
- Remove HP Smart App from your mobile device (if already installed).
- From the printer control panel, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen to open the Dashboard, and then touch ( Setup ).
- Touch Network Setup.
- Touch Restore Network Settings. A message appears stating that the network defaults will be restored.
- Touch Yes.
- Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.
Once done, Please reinstall the HP smart app, open the app, and click on add printer on top. Select your printer and follow the on-screen instructions to get your printer configured on the app.
