My printer won't pick up the photo paper - I have replaced the paper several times with no result. The main screen says there is 4 x 6 paper but when I go to print it keeps saying the paper tray is empty. Any solution???

Do you face the same issue when making photocopies?
Please remove the papers and perform a Printer Reset
(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed
Then update the Firmware from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-photo-7100-all-in-one-printer-series/907311...
Put back the papers/photo papers and adjust them properly using the Paper Guides
If the issue persists, please follow the instructions in Steps 2 - 4 from this Link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-envy-photo-7100-all-in-one-printer-series/9073119/model/9073...
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a good day 😊

I did the first things you recommended and downloaded what you recommended....nothing changed. Next went to your second set of options, followed those directions in the link and step #2 (cleaning the rollers underneath the printer) seems to have worked. I have printed two pictures from the photo tray with no problems. Thank you!!
