My HP 4635 will not print - I have plenty of ink in both cartridges but when I try to print either black or color, nothing comes out, Have also tried to scan - it still does not print. I did try the print and scan doctor and followed instructions with no results. Am totally stymied and any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your printer is printing blank pages, follow these steps to fix the issue.

Did you make a copy and check if that prints fine?

 

Meanwhile:- 

Print a Print Quality Diagnostic Report

  1. On the printer control panel, press the Down Arrow  to scroll to Tools, and then press OK.

  2. Press the Down Arrow  to scroll to Print Quality Report, and then press OK. The printer prints the test page.

If that does not print fine, use an automated tool to clean the printhead

  1. Load letter or A4, unused, plain white paper into the paper tray.

  2. On the printer control panel, press the Down Arrow  to select Tools, and then press OK.

  3. Press the Down Arrow  to select Clean Printhead, and then press OK. The printer cleans the printhead, and then prints a printhead test page.
