Check the HD health.
Right click on C Drive, select Properties, select Tools, click Check under Error Reporting
Next check the Windows system files, sfc /scannow from a command prompt

Run the Windows troubleshooter found in ‘Hardware and Devices’.
What ver. of Windows are you running?
