Deskjet 2600

My HP Deskjet 2600 won't print in color from my computer or the HP Smart app. I've done printer tests with a brand new color cartridge, I've tried printing in all possible settings, and still nothing. I don't know what else it could be. I've had the printer for about 3 years. Could the age of the printer play a factor in the issue?

@AllysonKohler, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document to resolve this issue. If the issue persists, this could be a hardware issue with the printer as you have already used an alternative new color ink cartridge.

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
