I have an HP Envy 5530 and every time I turn the printer on it states "Ink Cartridge Problem: The following ink cartridges need to be replaced" and then shows the black icon. I spoke to an agent who told me to remove the ink cartridge and re-install. That did not work. The agent then told me to remove the ink cartridge, and restart the printer by turning it off and unplugging it, waiting, then re-plugging it in and re-installing. That did not work. The agent then sent me a new ink cartridge. I installed the new ink cartridge and that did not work.
I need to speak to REAL PERSON over the telephone regarding this printer being manufactured improperly FOR FREE. So someone will need to contact me to discuss this issue and for HP to fix my in perfect condition printer--even if that means sending me a new printer for free.
Otherwise, if a REAL person refuses to contact me regarding this issue and the printer is not fixed, [Content Removed] because it appears like all the printers are designed to break & not read cartridges after the warranty expires and then the customers are just told to "buy a new printer". That is not lawful, and I will not stand for it.
