My printer just stopped printing. 

One day I was printing perfectly fine and the today it is not. I went to print as I always do, go to my printer either wireless print or usb print and it didnt work. My computer said it was printing and I was confused, I looked on the printer and it just showed the top bar flashing green and then back to grey continuisly. I also saw that there was a red x and a pressed it and it cancelled my print job, I then tried again with the usb, same thing it didn't work. I reset the whole printer for about 30 minutes and then tried again. I looked on youtube and nothing shows my issue. I tried to see if the ink was the problem. The black ink is all full and the rest are not that full, but I was only trying to print a black document. I didn't get a ink cartridge failure because the ink is gone, their is still some ink in the colors because when i took them out is shacked the ink to see if there was any ink left and their is but only a little. I dont think the ink is the problem. I dont know what to do. Do I need to return my printer and get a new one? Please Help me.

Are you able to make photocopies on the printer? 

Have you checked the ink levels on the printer?

 

Also, refer to the document Black or Color Ink Not Printing, Other Print Quality Issues for help.
