My HP OfficeJet 5258 Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP OfficeJet 5258 only prints blank pages whenever I'm trying to print or copy a document. It's still able to scan documents and upload them onto my computer. The ink levels are read as optimal. I have tried plugging the printer into a wall outlet, utilized the "Clean Cartridges" under the "Tools" menu (Still results in a blank page), and I have diagnosed the printer with the HP Smart application on my computer and found zero software issues. I'm hoping to have this issue fixed in a way that doesn't result in me having to buy more HP products like a new ink cartridge.

If anyone can provide assistance so that I can print and copy actual documents without having them be blank sheets of paper it would be fantastic. Please and thank you.

@ThomasL26, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I understand the printer is printing blank pages. Have you replaced the ink cartridges and check if that works?

This printer supports printing in single-cartridge mode.

Insert one ink cartridge at a time and try to make a copy to identify the defective ink cartridge.

Make sure you have cleaned the ink cartridges up to 2 times.

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware issue. Please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the service/replacement options.

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.

Keep me posted for any other assistance.
